Application for Re-Registration
2010-2011 School Year
Due Friday, March 5, 2010
Re-Registration Criteria
Annually, each family with students currently attending St. Mark School has the opportunity to submit their Application for Re-Registration. The following criteria will be considered in the decision to either accept or not accept this application:
1) At the time of application all tuition, forms, and fees (including Prefecting/playground, Library, Extended Day Program, or any other school related expenses) must be current.
2) Students need to have displayed successful academic growth and appropriate behavior. Some students may be asked to commit to enrollment in summer school or tutoring programs. Re-registration may be contingent on this agreement.
3) The primary purpose of Catholic School is to work in conjunction with the parent to foster the teaching, doctrine and practice of Catholicism. Parents must agree to accept the commitment and responsibility of actively providing these teachings and practices for their child outside the school.
Non-Catholic students are required to actively participate in religion classes, religious celebrations and liturgies while attending St. Mark.
4) A major factor in the success of our school is the support and loyalty of our students and parents. All students and their parents must jointly agree to abide by the following: School Board Policies, Administrative Policies and Regulations, School Rules and Classroom Rules.
5) Prefecting - A $75 prefecting/playground supervision (Grades TK-5th) deposit is required at the time of the first tuition payment (June 2010). The calendar for prefecting service days will be available at the beginning of August 2010. This deposit is only refundable upon completion of all five required prefecting days of service. Please refer to the Parent-Student Handbook for further explanation of this school policy.
Do not send prefecting checks at this time, we will request checks later.
