Beginning at the Preschool level and continuing through eighth grade, St. Mark's curriculum and
instruction include sequential and constructive programs of learning. Instructional delivery focuses on various learning styles, multiple intelligences, and student-centered activities.
Differentiation in the classroom is utilized to meet students "where they are" within classroom lessons. Some students require additional challenge and enrichment, while others need extra assistance to reach lesson goals. Teachers utilize both whole and small group work to meet student needs. While everyone learns the same topic or concept within a given lesson, individual students reach those goals in different ways. St. Mark strives to support individual student learning styles to insure success for all.
The school curriculum is designed by the Office of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Dallas and is set forth in the Diocesan Curriculum Guides.
